7 Stylish Rain Boots to Keep Your Feet Dry This Spring

Did you know it rains an exuberant amount in Seattle? You’ve probably never, ever, not even once heard that.

I’m kidding of course. We all know the Pacific Northwest is wet and soggy a good portion of the year. This winter has been unusually more wet than normal, which is really saying something, but with spring upon us (hopefully…no more snow please), it will be a bit warmer but still just as wet. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my time on this side of the Cascades, it’s that a good waterproof boot makes all the difference.

When I think of rain boots, an image of shiny rubber, knee high boots comes to mind. Been there, done that and I don’t find them comfortable at all. My feet absorb all the cold and the rubber is generally uncomfortable to spend a day in. I’m not one to want to change shoes either. So this is where one waterproof, rain resistant pair of shoes comes along.

They need to be stylish rain boots too, something easily to style that blends in with the rest of my outfit. Am I a bit high maintenance about my rain boots? Probably, but when I pick a new pair out, it’s a damn good pair and meets all my needs:

  • Keeps my feet dry
  • Keeps my feet warm
  • Comfortable (no achy feet)
  • No need to change shoes

I am one happy Pacific Northwesterner when I find a pair of boots that checks all those items off.
