I’ve fallen back in love with combat boots and plaid style pairings.
If I’m being totally honest, I remembered how much I love plaid and combat boots while watching series 9 & 10 of Doctor Who. Peter Capaldi is the king of casual style with punk-ish flair. This prompted me to pull out my pair of blue plaid Paige jeans and mend a tear that appeared near one of the front pockets. They’re good as new now and I can’t believe I let them sit in my drawer for over a year just because of the hole.
Lately I’ve been re-discovering what I love when it comes to style. A little bit of a rocker vibe, grunge (this is Seattle after all), all the plaid, and boots. So many boots.
After getting sucked into dressing a certain way at my last job, this past year, working at Microsoft, I’ve rediscovered what I love to wear, what makes me, well, me.
