Outfit: Cozy Saturdays at Home

It’s probably because of the general state of the world at the moment, but my desire to venture out on weekends is waning. Though, it’s also probably because it’s winter and the cold makes me recoil.  But if I do have errands to run, I prefer to get those things out of the way early on in my Saturday.

Because for the rest of my weekend, I prefer to spend it cozy, lazy, reading a book or cooking. Around April I start to crawl out of hibernation mode. The days are much longer, (it was light at 5:30 today, huzzah!), and it’s warmer and I’m more inclined to cross the bridge if it means not driving in the dark and rain.

But honestly, between barre class, my partner, 2 dogs, work, trying to be a social human with my wonderful friends and planning multiple adventures, the added feeling that the world is currently on fire all day err’day drives one into needing solitude for a bit. So if staying cozy & chill on weekends is what I need to do at the moment, so be it.

I hope everyone had a good & safe weekend, whether you were out protesting or you were at home, don’t forget to take care of yourselves too.

xx
Stephanie
