Las Vegas

Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesar’s Palace

Instead of a trip over the mountains to Eastern Washington in May, I ended up in Las Vegas. Another quick trip for another packed month and while pool time was top priority, my main goal was to go check out Lisa Vanderpump’s new Cocktail Garden in Caesar’s Palace.

If you don’t know who that is, you don’t watch Real Housewives, which is fine and I’ve been watching the series for far longer than I care to admit. It’s my guilty pleasure.

What feels like a very long time ago, in 2012, I visited Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant Villa Blanca in Beverly Hills. I remember it was good, actually good, not just good because I was excited to be in Lisa V’s restaurant.

And so I was excited to hear she was opening a spot in Vegas and there I was, right next door in the Bellagio. Excellent.

Important things to know: its first come first serve, there are no reservations unless you have a large group and I mean large), and the restaurant officially starts serving food at 4:00 PM.

Food & Cocktails at Vanderpump Cocktail Garden

We ordered the goat cheese balls with Belgian endive salad and poppyseed dressing, the garden charcuterie board, and the grilled steak skewers. It was all divine: presentation to taste. The goat cheese balls were my favorite, with the steak skewers a close second.

A charcuterie board is a charcuterie board but the prosciutto was formed into roses and was quite beautiful.

I was too full and didn’t order dessert but there was a rose cake on the menu that I had been eyeing that I’m sure was divine.

The cocktails were also beautifully crafted and at least the ones we ordered weren’t overly sweet which is something I detest as I get older. I ordered the Velveteen Rabbit and my companion ordered The Nut Job, a mojito covered in coconut flakes.

Vanderpump Cocktail Garden Ambiance

Everything about the decor and ambiance was perfectly Vanderpump. It was eclectic and dark but beautiful with large flower arrangements. As someone who has watched Lisa Vanderpump on Real Housewives, it did not disappoint. It fit perfectly in Las Vegas, bringing an upscale but unique feeling to Caesar’s.

Lisa Vanderpump knows her audience too, as some of the chalkboard walls around space had all of her tag lines from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills written on them.

If you’re a Real Housewives fan, definitely go for the fabulous Vanderpump Vibes and good food and drink, and even if you don’t watch the show, go for the food and drink and soak up the unique garden oasis-like atmosphere in the middle of the Las Vegas desert.

I had no idea that she had a place in Vegas. She really has such an incredible imagination when it comes to design.

I don’t watch the Real Housewives show, but this restaurant looks beautiful! We used to live in Vegas and would have loved to check it out had it been open then!
