I was back in the USA in January and had to make a stop at Target. It’s one of the things I definitely miss about living in Europe. No Target.…

Spring is finally upon us…almost anyway. Is it really spring if it just snowed again? Ugh. Nothing like a rude awakening by your pups early on a Saturday morning only to be greeted by snowflakes falling and about half an inch of snow on the ground. Not okay Mother Nature! Not okay! I have some dahlia bulbs to plant and I’m very glad I haven’t planted them yet.…
I generally don’t like floral anything on any of my clothing. Growing up we had a couch with an awful 90s floral pattern. It was horrendous. And anytime I would go shopping with my mom & she would pull out a floral top for me to try, I stuck my nose up and said gave her a firm “no”. But my views have shifted a bit with the latest velvet and floral embroidered boot trend. I love funky shoes and these are all my style. These are some of my favorites from across the web. 1. Joie Blayze Floral Boot | 2. Ego Omari Floral Velvet Boots | 3. Jeffrey Campbell Stratford Floral Boot | 4. Shelleys London Chanah Embroidered Platform Bootie | 5. Alexandre Birman Regina Embroidered Velvet Boot | 6. Saint Laurent Floral Jacquard Boot | 7. Topshop Blossom Embroidered Boots | 8. Public Desire Hana Bootie | 9. Sam Edelman Taye Bootie To my US readers, have a lovely Thanksgiving & safe travels if you’re traveling for the holiday! xoxo Steph…

It’s the funky nature of the white platform that I love. It stands out, especially if the rest of the shoe is a bright color. I’m obsessed with this trend this year. Seattle has been unusually hot this year and my ankle boots are sometimes way too much (it’s that warm). The brand I’ve been loving has been Bucco, which is over on Hautelook quite a bit, but since it’s a flash sale site, I usually miss my size. I just discovered these over on Zooshop, which I literally discovered tonight, and again, these just fuel my love for these sky high platforms even more. They’re a statement piece and can really make a jean & t-shirt combo instantly fab. 1. Savin / 2. Enya / 3. Beck / 4. Therapy / 5. Lab Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Looking forward to floating at the lake tomorrow in this heat. xoxo, Steph Follow Me On: BLOGLOVIN’ | TWITTER | INSTAGRAM…
Spring is finally here. Almost. I mean it is, but if I’m not able to wear sandals in the morning without my toes falling off from the cold then we’re not quite there yet. But next week will be in the mid seventies which means I get break out my favorite Matiko platform sandals. Damn right that calls for a dancing Dumbledore gif. But oh hey, speaking of platform sandals. Jeffrey Campbell. Always brilliantly out there with wild styles and sky high platforms & the latest shoes available at Solestruck are no less bold and wonderful. These platforms look wonderfully retro & I want to buy them all, put on a pair of dark skinny jeans and role the cuffs up. I love them. I’m so ready for spring, scratch that, I’m ready for SUMMER, and sandals. And I want some Jeffrey Campbell platforms to add to my closet. Follow Me On: BLOGLOVIN’ | TWITTER | INSTAGRAM…
After a trip to Ikea last weekend, our townhome is starting to feel a little more put together. We purchased some shelving and book cases so we could de-clutter our counters. It’s starting to look less like a college student’s apartment. With our newly added space, I now have space to make things more festive. I love the Holidays, and I can’t wait to add some more decorations to the house. For now, I’m dreaming of snow, hot cocoa, and holiday parties.…
The Nickel Diner, a bustling little joint that had good food. Backstage One of the other designers, Patuna Bushyhead. Her collection was simply stunning, flow, ethereal gowns with jewels. Finally Bri Seeley & Lina Zeineddine shoes on the runway! Bri’s collection has been picked up by Zappos & will be available sometime next year! It was a great week for these two designers. JHaus I left after the first round of shows so I could get back to Beverly Hills and get packed since I had to be up early to catch a flight to Chicago. I ordered room service and enjoyed a relaxing evening before heading off on another, short but much anticipated, trip.…
These babies are flying off Solestruck.com’s virtual shelf. If I could only buy one pair of shoes the rest of the year, these would be them. Sometimes you just have to hold off..and hope your amazing awesome boyfriend knows these are on your wishlist 😉…
