Despite my refusal, summer has most definitely faded away. The breeze is crisp, the sun is warm but not warm enough, and I find myself reluctantly turning the heat in my home on for a bit. This is truly the last of my summer outfits.
I am not a particularly bright colored clothing kind of person but these neon jeans were entirely too good to pass up. I found myself already pairing them with many different things in my closet before I’d even added them to my cart. So when I find a piece of clothing that brings on that much style inspiration…well then I have to buy it.
They also prompted me to pull out a pair of vintage Fendi sunglasses that are seemingly on trend right not. I was gifted these a decade ago and I took them because they were Fendi. Not particularly my style at the time and though I’ve brought them out before they’ve never quite fit…until now. Again with the piece of clothing prompting style inspiration. My teenage self would be elated at what I’m wearing.
And I have to acknowledge I bought a pair of flared jeans. What year is it again? Who knows. I still feel a bit lost when it comes to what sort of shoes I’m supposed to wear with flares. I’m sure I’ll figure it out.
