Hello readers, it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything mostly due to how busy I’ve been with work and travel (at least up until the past month!) Femme Luxe Finery reached out to me to do a blog collab and it’s been fun to dive back into styling outfits and it’s honestly been a nice distraction from everything happening in the world at the moment. Femme Luxe Finery is an affordable U.K. based brand (with a U.S. online store) with a large range of stylish, chic and sexy clothes. In the last few months I’ve started to look for more feminine and chic pieces, and Femme Luxe Finery has what I’m looking for. They reached out and let me pick four pieces to review for the blog and these are the pieces I chose. And they are all black because I live in Seattle and we don’t wear bright colors here (I’m kidding, but I love black, black, black.) I was walking into the office one morning, balancing two bags, a cup of coffee and a box of breakfast when the receptionist exclaimed how much she loved my skirt. “It looks like you just floated on in.”…

This is one of the joys of second hand shopping that I’m coming to love: finding something that so perfectly fits your style, is good quality, and is otherwise hard to find. Like this Escada moon & stars belt.…
Since it seems I’ve been standing on a soapbox talking about second hand shopping & independent brands, I thought I’d revisit this delightfully rocker chic brand I partnered with on Instagram last year: Pink Sheep Heiress.…
My parents moved to Arizona a few years ago and I will say it is quite nice to come and visit mid-winter and escape the dreary grey sky and utter soaking wet of Seattle. Even if the Arizona evenings are chilly, you can still wrap up in a blanket and sit by one of those snazzy chic patio heaters and enjoy the evening.…
I’m currently being harassed by one very twacky border collie because the sun is out and she knows exactly what that means. Play time. She is one of the most intelligent creatures I’ve ever met, and sometimes that can be the most annoying thing about her. Because she really does know that sunshine means we will be outside. It’s not raining and as soon as she’s up in the morning and had her breakfast, she goes about terrorizing the house until everyone is up.…
